The Coen Brothers’ Burn After Reading topped the weekend box office with an estimated gross of $19.4M. I missed the film due to the film festival, but I expect to see it sometime within the week.
Tyler Perry‘s The Family That Preys opened in second with an estimated $18M. The Robert DeNiro/Al Pacino team-up Righteous Kill was in third with and estimated $16.5M and the all female comedy The Woman opened in forth with an estimated $10.1M.
Last week’s number one film Bankcock Dangerous toppled to eighth place with a gross of only $2.4M.
And that’s the box office thoughts for this week.
