A release date has been set for a remake of the 1982 horror film Poltergeist has been set by MGM for November 24, 2010.
Vadim Perelmen, the director of The House of Sand and Fog, was in talks to direct this remaking, which is being written by Juliet Snowden and Stiles White, who have also worked on Boogeyman, Knowing, and the in-development remake of The Birds.
