Sam Raimi has been busy with the Spider-Man series in recent years and he hasn’t directed a horror film since Army of Darkness way back in 1992.
While Drag Me to Hell definitely seems way more mainstream than the Evil Dead films every were, it is definitely refreshing that someone is directing an original horror film, which seems really rare these days. Even though the film is going to have a PG-13 rating, it looks like it will an intense film.
The film opens May 29 and I am definitely checking it out.
