Trailer Thoughts: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

With the release of the film a little over a week away, today I will look at the second of the three trailers released for the first (the only difference between the second and third trailer is the montage of scenes after the intro).

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

The trailers for this film have been pretty good and showing classic Indiana Jones action without revealing all the details of the plot. In fact, the narration during the first 30 seconds of the trailer is probably the only real plot summary we will get before the release of the film.

The rest of the trailer is just a montage of action sequences, which gives you an idea of how exciting the film is going to be.

One nice touch I like in these trailers is how the close up of the first “A” in the title is briefly framed to look like a 4 as the title zooms onto the screen.

I’m definitely looking forward to this film.
