Here is the teaser trailer for Platinum Dunes’ remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street.
I thought that the Friday the 13th reboot turned out decent, so they is some hope that this film will give a fresh take on Freddy Krueger.
Jackie Earle Haley (Rorschach from Watchmen) takes over the role of Krueger from Robert Englund and his portrayal looks at the same time very similar and very different to the classic Freddy (however, we have yet to see 100% clear shot of how he looks). However, one thing for certain is that this Freddy doesn’t look to be the wisecracking one from the Nightmare sequels.
The film opens on April 30 of next year.
