Quickie Golden Globe Predictions

The ongoing WGA strike has effectively put an end to the Golden Globes ceremony. As such the awards will only be announced via press conference (which I’ll probably skip).

As such, I will quickly make my predictions with none of the usual commentary.

Here are my predictions:
Best Picture – Drama: No Country for Old Men
Best Picture – Musical or Comedy: Sweeney Todd
Best Actor – Drama: Daniel Day-Lewis
Best Actress – Drama: Keira Knightly
Best Actor – Musical or Comedy: Johnny Depp
Best Actress – Musical or Comedy: Ellen Page
Best Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem
Best Supporting Actress: Cate Blanchett
Best Director: Coen Brothers
Best Screenplay: No Country for Old Men
Best Animated: Ratatouille
Best Foreign: 4 Months, 3 Days and 2 Days
Best Song: Walk Hard
Best Score: Eastern Promises

Well, those are the predictions. Hopefully the strike will soon be resolved, so the Oscars don’t receive the same fate.
