Catfish

If nothing else, this is a film that would generate discussion.

After seeing this film today, I was reading many posts on the internet arguing whether or not this was truly a documentary or a fictional film disguised as one (though when you think about it, ALL documentaries are staged in one way or another).  In my opinion, I think that this was a true documentary, even though it was sort of advertised as being something that it’s not.

Either way, the film can be seen as a pretty good cautionary tale about using social networks to connect to people that you do not know.  Definitely very thought-provoking.
