It’s always disappointing when you see a film you were expecting to like and it ended up not being what you expected.
It really seems they were trying hard to create a sequel to a film that had as complete an ending that you could think of. The result is a film that throws suspension of disbelief out the window and turns everything that was fun about the first film into an overblown gratuitous mess.
I wouldn’t say that it was an outright bad film, but it definitely disappointed me enough that I can’t really recommend it.
