Danny Boyle, known for Trainspotting and 28 Days Later enters the Sci-Fi genre with . In fact there are quite a few technical similarities between this film and 28 Days Later. They both have the same director (Boyle), screenwriter (Alex Garland), star (), and composer (John Murphy). The film even features (one of the stars of 28 Weeks Later).

As for the film itself, I thought it was pretty well done. However, I did find a few small issues with the use of camera tricks for the special effects (they looked clumsy — especially some subliminal images that just come out of nowhere). As the film has a villain, in which it’s questionable whether we really need one (the film was fine without one).

Those issues aside, I thought it was good film and I would definitely recommend it.
