The survivor of a terrorist attack struggles to remember the events in . Mia (Virginie Efira) is a radio translator caught up in a mass shooting in a Paris bistro. Mia survives the attack but cannot remember how the events played out. She begins attending a support group for survivors, where she meets Thomas (Benoît Magimel) and begins to piece together the events of that fateful night.

Paris Memories is a drama by French filmmaker Alice Winocour (Proxima), which stars Virginie Efira (Benedetta) as the survivor of a terrorist attack who is trying to recover by remembering how the events played out. When she first attends a survivor support group, Mia is accused of hiding in the washroom during the attack. However, she also meets supportive survivors like Thomas, who helps Mia remember that fateful night's events.

While a fictional story, the events of Paris Memories hearken back to the actual terrorist attacks in Paris that happened in 2015. However, the terrorist attack in the film is almost inconsequential, as the film is much more about the aftermath. Paris Memories is ultimately about the effects of trauma and the effort it takes to recover, with a very solid lead performance by Virginie Efira.
