Working Class Goes to Hell Synopsis
Working Class Goes to Hell is a horror-infused drama written and directed by Serbian filmmaker Mladen Djordjevi. The film focuses on a group of downtrodden factory workers led by Ceca, who is also the caregiver for the mute orphaned teen Danica (Lidija Kordic), who hasn’t spoken since her mother died in the factory fire. The fire was suspected of being purposely set, though the owners have escaped prosecution. Inspired by the Satanic practices of new association member Miya, these factory workers prepare themselves to fight back.
My Thoughts on Working Class Goes to Hell
Working Class Goes to Hell takes a very darkly humorous and satirical approach to tell this story of factory workers who turn to Satanism. The Satanism aspect of the film is introduced over time, beginning with simple parlour tricks performed by Mija and building to full-on sacrificial rituals. This builds up to the insane climax of the association fighting back against the corporation that wronged them.
