The award winners have been announced for the 2015 edition of the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. Not at all surprising for me is the fact the winner of the Anchor Bay Entertainment Audience Choice Award for Best Feature Film, Gold went to the New Zealand horror-comedy Deathgasm. Since I’ve been a huge fan of this film since I first saw it at Fantasia this past summer, I am very happy that the film won the big award, along with eight of the specialty awards. The Silver Award went to Sion Sono’s Love & Peace, which also won four specialty awards. The Bronze Award went to A Christmas Horror Story, which also picked up four specialty awards.
Here is the full rundown of the Award winners for the 2015 Toronto After Dark Film Festival. I will include my picks in brackets for the festival bumper and specialty awards.
