TIFF09: The Calm Before the Storm
Tomorrow is the day single tickets go on sale for TIFF.
Unlike previous years when they went on sale the day before the start of the festival, they are now on sale nearly a week before the festival.
This may pose a problem later in the festival, since films will now go offsale sooner. However, tomorrow I plan on redeeming my first four volunteer vouchers on the best film’s I can get tickets for.
Here are some of the films I’ve earmarked (though I don’t expect them all to be available):
- A Serious Man
- Survival of the Dead
- Youth in Revolt
- Suck
- Jennifer’s Body
- The Hole
- The White Stripes Under Great Northern Lights
Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to nab a ticket for at least one of the above films (fingers crossed).
