TIFF12: My Final Film Line-Up

antiviral 1

We are only a few days away from the start of the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.  Single tickets went on sale today and I ended up waiting only five hours (compared to last year’s eight) to fill my schedule with 25 films, which makes this year’s festival relatively on par with last year.

My top acquisitions this year include a ticket to Brandon Cronenberg’s Antiviral, which is probably the film I’m most looking forward to seeing at the festival.  Other key films in my line-up include Noah Baumbach’s Frances Ha, the documentary : Odd Man Out, the Sundance hit Smashed, and a record six films in the Midnight Madness programme, including midnight screenings of Dredd 3D and John Dies at the End.

Here is my full line-up for the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival:

Thursday Sept 6

Friday Sept 7
Saturday Sept 8
Sunday Sept 9
Monday Sept 10
Tuesday Sept 11
Wednesday Sept 12
Thursday Sept 13
Friday Sept 14
Saturday Sept 15
Sunday Sept 16
Well, that’s my line-up for this year’s festival.  I’m still working out how I’ll do my coverage this year, though I’m leaning towards full reviews of the major films, including a film I saw pre-festival, and capsule reviews for the rest.  Also, keep an eye out for some special pre-festival posts this week as I celebrate my tenth Toronto Film Festival.
