We are only a few days away from the start of the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. Single tickets went on sale today and I ended up waiting only five hours (compared to last year’s eight) to fill my schedule with 25 films, which makes this year’s festival relatively on par with last year.
My top acquisitions this year include a ticket to Brandon Cronenberg’s Antiviral, which is probably the film I’m most looking forward to seeing at the festival. Other key films in my line-up include Noah Baumbach’s Frances Ha, the documentary Roman Polanski: Odd Man Out, the Sundance hit Smashed, and a record six films in the Midnight Madness programme, including midnight screenings of Dredd 3D and John Dies at the End.
