In a follow-up to my article from a couple weeks ago, I am going to run down the films that are currently scheduled to be released in 3D in the next month or so and say whether or not I am planning to pay the premium price to see it in 3D.
For the ones I say no to, I will provide a brief explanation as to why I will not be seeing the film in three dimensions.
Let`s begin!
Green Lantern
Release Date: June 17
Will I See it in 3D? Yes
Cars 2
Release Date: June 24
Will I See it in 3D? Maybe
Reason: I may decide to see the film at the Humber Cinema, which to my knowledge is not equipped for 3D.
Transformers: The Dark of the Moon
Release Date: June 29
Will I See it in 3D? Yes
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, Part 2
Release Date: June 15
Will I See it in 3D? Probably Not
Reason: Once again, the film is set to open at the Humber Cinema, which is where I`ll probably prefer to see it.
Captain America: The First Avenger
Release Date: July 22
Will I See it in 3D? No
Reason: Not only is the film scheduled to open at the Humber cinema, but it is also being used to mark the completion of restorations to the downstairs cinema. As such, I definitely going to be seeing the film there.
The Smurfs
Release Date: July 29
Will I See it in 3D? Definitely Not
Reason: I`m skipping this film altogether.
As such, during the next month or so I only plan on definitely seeing two films in 3D (not a good sign). I will post a new list next month and see if the prospects have changed.
