TADFF17: Wrap-Up

The twelfth annual edition of the Toronto After Dark Film Festival marked both my ninth year attending the festival, as well as my sixth covering the festival. This year’s festival had some strong selections, but also made a fair number of risks, such as the inclusion of a high number of Canadian films. With me only doing partial coverage of Fantasia this year, there wasn’t as much crossover with that festival for me this year. As such, instead of doing two top five lists as I have been doing, I decided to just do a combined list, even if it includes rewatches.

Without further ado, here are my top films of Toronto After Dark 2017.
Top Five Feature Films

  1. Tragedy Girls
  2. The Villainess
  3. Mayhem
