You could have called last year’s The Hangover a bit of a comeback film for Philips, since it was his first true hit since Old School.  I think it also raised expectations a bit for the follow-up.

I can say that is a bit of a step-down from The Hangover in terms of being a laugh out loud comedy.  That said, this is a different type of film that draws from “buddy road comedies” of of the past with Robert Downey Jr playing the straight man (ala ) and playing the buffoon (ala John Candy).

The film features a series of comedic scenarios, some which work more than others.  However, there at least two absolutely hilarious moments.

Overall, I would say it was a decent film.
