This week my main DVD pick is the WWII thriller Valkyrie (also on Blu-Ray). I thought that, despite poor public opinion on Tom Cruise, it was still a good film that kept me under suspense, even though I had a good idea how it was going to turn out.
Also out this week is the year’s first $100M+ hit Paul Blart: Mall Cop (also on Blu-Ray). I thought that even though the film started out iffy, I started having fun when the plot got going.
I missed it in theaters, but this week also sees the DVD release on Fanboys (also on Blu-Ray).
Rounding out the new releases is My Bloody Valentine 3D (also on Blu-Ray), complete with 3D glasses.
Notable films being released on Blu-Ray this week include A Bug’s Life, Enemy at the Gates, The Machinist, Fast Company, and Teminator 2: Skynet Edition.
And that’s my DVD Picks for this week.

Valkyrie was probably one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while. Saw it on theatres Christmas Day and ordered it on blu-ray from amazon a couple days ago. Special features look great, I’ve read a couple reviews.
