DVD Picks – August 11, 2009

iloveyoumanBromance is the word of the day as I Love You, Man (also on Blu-Ray) comes out on DVD. I thought that if it wasn’t for the chemistry between and that this may have ended up being an average film, however it ended up being quite decent with many good laughs.

Also out this week is the Oscar-nominated French film The Class (also on Blu-Ray). I thought that the film came off as sort of a fictional documentary and it featured very intriguing classroom scenes.

For those of you have must get your fix, today also sees the the release of 17 Again (also on Blu-Ray).

Some notable Blu-Ray release this week include The Ninth Gate, St. Elmo’s Fire, About Last Night, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collection.

And that’s my DVD Picks for this week.
