Badsville

The leader of a greaser gang wants to leave the life behind in . In the lawless town of Badsville, the Kings frequently do battle with the Aces to secure their position at the top of the gang hierarchy. However, Kings leader Wink (Ian McLaren) is tired of the life and wants to leave Badsville, especially after he finds love through local girl Suzy (Tamara Duarte). However, Wink's desire to leave doesn't sit well with Wink's right hand man Benny (Benjamin Barrett), who proceeds to purposely stir up trouble with the Aces.

From director April Mullen (88, Below Her Mouth) comes this small town drama about a gang leader who wants to leave the life, but finds the last easier said than done. The film focuses primarily on the inner strife the develops within the Badsville Kings when leader Wink expresses his desire to leave. This and Wink's subsequent relationship with Suzy results in second-in-command Aces provoking a violent rumble with rival gang the Aces, which will change things in the town forever.

While Badsville is a dark and gritty film, there is also a certain degree of heart to the story, whether it be Wink's romance with Suzy or his “big brother” relationship with local kid Sammy (Gregory Kasyan). The film also features appearances by Emilio Rivera (Sons of Anarchy) and Robert Knepper (Prison Break), giving the film a certain level of star power. While there are many elements to Badsville that come off as cliche, the film is still pretty solid gang drama.
