Film Info

Two brothers take a seemingly simple job that turns into a life-or-death race in . Noah Hazard (Dimitri ‘Vegas’ Thivaios) considers himself the best driver in Antwerp behind the wheel of his prized gold Lexus. After dropping off his daughter Zita (Mila Rooms), Noah promises his girlfriend Lea () that he’ll pick Zita up at the end of the day. However, first Noah picks up his gangster brother Carlos () for what seems to be a simple job. However, things quickly go awry, and Noah and Carlos have to race against the clock to avoid the dire consequences.

H4Z4RD is a Belgian action-comedy directed by Jonas Govaerts (Cub), based on a script by Trent Haaga (Deadgirl, Cheap Thrills). The film stars Belgian–Greek EDM superstar Dimitri ‘Vegas’ Thivaios as Noah Hazard, who is immensely proud of this prized Lexus automobile. Noah planned a non-consequential day of driving his daughter, fixing the crack in his windshield, and perhaps winning some money in a big boxing match. However, things begin to go downhill when Noah decides to take his freshly out-of-prison brother Carlos “for a spin.”

The main selling point of H4Z4RD is that it is an action-comedy that solely takes place around Noah Hazard’s prized Lexus. However, this isn’t as monotonous as it sounds, as the film features encounters with perverted security guards, a vengeful drug lord, and even a wolf. H4Z4RD is a Eurotrash action-comedy, emphasis on the Eurotrash, that has some well-executed individual moments, but as a whole is a bit too much, particularly Jeroen Perceval as Carlos, whom the film could’ve used a lot less of.
