What I Watched – March 29-April 12

WhatIWatched

Here is what I watched:

  • Constantine – Rewatch (Cinema) – Finished off the series for me
  • G.I. Joe: Retaliation – First Viewing (Cinema) – Decent film, terrible sequel
  • Moonrise Kingdom – Rewatch (Movie Network) – I was reminded how great this film was (and I just bought the blu-ray).
  • Spring Breakers – First Viewing (Cinema) – I had quite a bit to say about this one.
  • Love, Marilyn – First Viewing (Cinema) – Much much going for it, other than the celebrity .
  • Metallica: Some Kind of Monster – First Viewing (Cinema) – A VERY candid look at Metallica during a major crossroads in their career.
  • Rock of Ages – First Viewing (Movie Network) – Shut it off after 20 minutes
  • The Evil Dead – First Viewing (DVD) – Thought I would finally get around to watching the original before the remake. Was a gory good time!
  • Evil Dead – First Viewing (Cinema) – I wouldn’t choose it over the original, but I enjoyed it by the end
  • Donnie Darko – Rewatch (Blu-Ray) – A great film to finish off my birthday celebrations.
  • Shorts That Are Not Pants – Look up the audience winning short Las Palmas. You’ll be glad that you did.
  • Evil Dead II – First Viewing (Blu-Ray) – Definitely more goofy than the original, however I still had fun.
