What I Watched – August 10-16

WhatIWatched

Other than having to watch Killer Joe twice, it was a pretty standard week for me.  As always, you can also see the films I watched logged on Letterboxd.

Here’s what I watched:

  • The Bourne Legacy – First Viewing (Cinema) – Despite the slow first hour, I overall liked the film.
  • Total Recall (1990) – First Viewing (Cinema) – It’s a very cheesy film, but it’s fun as hell.
  • Phantom of the Paradise – First Viewing (Cinema) – This is one weird rock opera.
  • Killer Joe – First Viewing (Cinema) – It took two tries, but I’m glad I eventually saw the whole film (and its one hell of an ending)
  • Fight Club – Rewatch (Projected DVD) – It was definitely a good choice for the second 360 Screenings event.
  • The Raid: Redemption – Rewatch (Blu-Ray) – I was a bit sleepy when I watched it, but its still a very entertaining action film.
