The Blood in the Snow Canadian Film Festival arrives for its fifth edition this weekend. This is a major transition year for the festival, as it moves to its new location at the Cineplex Yonge and Dundas in downtown Toronto. This year’s line-up will consist of 9 feature films and 23 short films showcasing Canadian Horror Cinema. There will also be a full day of industry panels and parties throughout the weekend.
Blood in the Snow will actually be opening with a documentary this year, as the festival screens 24×36: A Movie About Movie Posters to kick off the weekend. Some other highlights throughout the weekend include the midnight grindhouse film Holy Hell, the silent horror film anthology 3 Dead Trick or Treaters, the Fantasia hit The Unseen, and the closing film of Black Fawn Film’s The Sublet.
